Function buttons are used to quickly manage the selected color, without passing through the main menu.
These shortcuts are available to insert data into the file, take measures, search color codes, drive a dispenser and much more:

These radio buttons select the color data input mode: Clipboard - All measures are stored in the clipboard. No impact on the active file selected color. Store - New measures are stored in the selected color of the active file. The original color data is lost. This option is only available when a file content is displayed in the lay-out area. Search - The new measure is used to search the active file for the closest colors. The search results are automatically listed on the clipboard. This option is only available when a file content is displayed in the lay-out area. |

Deletes the current record position from the file. All the colors of the same page, from the current position, are shifted down one position. The deleted color is then added to the clipboard, and can be re-inserted into the file at any time. This allows for example a quick re-positioning of a record in the file structure. As an alternative is possible to drag the selected color to the clipboard's recycle bin. |

Inserts a new empty color at the current record position. All the colors of the same page, from the current position, are shifted up one position. This function is only available if the page is not completely saturated with colors and the position # 10 is free. |

Starts searching for a matching color code in the active file. Before pressing this button a valid text string (or code number) must be inserted in the Search entry field. Pressing again the button will position the selected color to the next matching code and so on across the file content. For example to locate all the colors with "RED" in the code/name or note fields, entry "RED" in the entry fields and press this button to toggle between all matching colors. As an alternative the keyboard key ENTER can be used to simulate this button when a text string has been inserted in the correspondent entry field. |
