This function allows to perform a complete calibration of the measuring instrument.
Each instrument requires different calibration procedures.
ColorD3 guides the operator through the calibration process according to the instrument specifications.
A calibration timer is located in the function buttons area of the main screen between the measure buttons and below the tile (standard) icon. This timer indicates the elapsed time since the last calibration.
An error message in this block (Expired) indicates that the valid calibration time is terminated and a new calibration must be performed.
The instrument must be calibrated when turned ON.
Also it is strongly recommended the instrument be recalibrated frequently or whenever its environment experiences significant change in temperature or humidity.
