Insert new

edi_posi

A new empty color is inserted at the current record position. All the colors of the same page, from the current position, are shifted up one position.

This function is only available if the page is not completely saturated with colors and the last position is free.

The same result can be obtained using the button positioned below the main working area of the application.

Copy

This function allows to copy the selected color (identified by the draw-down icon in the file lay-out area) into the clipboard. The color will be added to the clipboard and the oldest clipboard color will be lost.

Paste

This function allows to copy the clipboard color #1 to the selected color (identified by the draw-down icon in the file lay-out area). If the position is empty the clipboard color will be pasted without affecting other colors in the same page. Otherwise an empty position will be created and the upper colors will be shift up one position.

Paste chroma data only

This function allows to copy the color data of clipboard color #1 to the selected color (identified by the draw-down icon in the file lay-out area). Reference and formula data of the selected color will be retained but the original reflectance data will be substituted by the clipboard source's.

The same function can be achieved right-clicking on the clipboard source color and dragging the mouse to the target lay-out color position.

Delete

edi_dpos

The record at the current record position is deleted from the file. All the colors of the same page, from the current position, are shifted down one position.

The deleted color is added to the clipboard, and can be re-inserted into the file at any time. This allows for example a quick re-positioning of a record in the file structure.

The same result can be obtained using the button positioned below the main working area of the application or dragging the selected color to the clipboard's recycle bin.
